Private Policy

HYBRID GAME · Last updated: 23 July 2026

This policy explains what HYBRID GAME stores, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: the app asks for a display name so it can put a score on a leaderboard. It does not ask for your real name, your email, your location, or any account. There is no advertising and no tracking.

What the app stores on your device

The following is saved locally in the app and never leaves your phone. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

Stored Why
Your display name So you don't retype it every session
Your best score per station To show your personal bests
Your chosen athlete and arena To remember your preferences

What is sent when you finish a run

When you complete a station, one record is sent to our leaderboard database so your score can be ranked against other players. That record contains:

Sent Example
The display name you typed NOVA99
The station you played wallballs
Your score and finish time 96,620 · 21.4s
In-run statistics perfect reps, highest combo, multiplier peak
The athlete you selected nova
The date and time of the run set automatically by the database

Nothing else is transmitted. No account, no email address, no phone number, no contacts, no photos, no location, no device identifier, and no advertising identifier. The app has no analytics or tracking software in it.

Your display name is public

Whatever you type as your display name is visible to every other player on the leaderboard. Please don't use your full real name, and don't type anything you wouldn't want shown publicly. You can use a different name at any time.

Where the data is held

Leaderboard scores are stored with Supabase, a hosted database provider, and are protected in transit by HTTPS. Scores are kept so that leaderboards remain meaningful over time.

The app loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When it does, Google receives your device's IP address as part of that request. Google's handling of this is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. No other information is shared with Google.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. The only information a player can enter is a display name of their choosing.

Deleting your data

To remove data stored on your device, delete the app.

To have a leaderboard entry removed, email the address below with the display name and the station it appears on. We will delete it, normally within a few days. You can also ask us to remove every entry under a given name.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the UK and EU GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act — you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information about you, and to object to its processing. Contact us using the address below and we will act on your request. We do not sell personal information and never have.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change with it. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
